It is with deep regret that we announce that Doyce Gaskin, president of Mueller Co., has passed away after a brief illness.
 Doyce was named president of Mueller Co., in November of last year, but his many contributions to Mueller Co. go back more than 30 years to when he joined the company in 1975 as a production supervisor in Albertville, AL. He held a number of other positions at Albertville, including maintenance superintendent, maintenance and plant engineering manager, and manufacturing manager, before being named plant manager of Mueller Co.'s Chattanooga, TN facility in 1996. After three years managing Chattanooga, Doyce was promoted to vice president, manufacturing, for all of Mueller Co. in 1999 and to executive vice president in 2006.
Doyce was a trusted colleague. More importantly, he was a husband, father, and a friend to all those who had the good fortune to have known him.
