The handheld device delivers the performance, ruggedness and durability required for walk by or mobile AMR data collection in harsh environments in a very user-friendly, ergonomic package. Based on industry standards, the design ensures ease of integration into new and existing Hersey Meters AMR systems. Unparalleled expansion and connectivity options permit the benefits of RF meter reading to be combined with other data collection technologies such as touch probes.

Based on industry standard Microsoft architecture, the WORKABOUT PRO ensures seamless AMR meter reading capabilities. All visual, touch and Hersey Hot Rod meter reading modules are supported when combined with Hersey EZ Reader™ Route Management Software. Intuitive, icon based screens provide a simple yet complete user interface that require a minimum of instruction to master. A variety of accessory options combine to provide flexible radio and peripheral connectivity for all your meter reading needs.
RUGGEDNESS: The rugged design of the WORKABOUT PRO delivers meter reading uptime for increased productivity even in harsh environments. Rated at IP65, the WORKABOUT PRO is protected against dust and water sprayed from all directions. In addition, the WORKABOUT PRO can withstand multiple five foot drops to polished concrete, as well as, the shock and vibration consistent with mounting in a truck during mobile meter reading.
ERGONOMICS: The ease of use and portability of the WORKABOUT
